RMA Supplies U19 World Championships

During the year, FIBA, the international Basketball Federation held it's prestigeous Under 19 World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand.

Attended by the best young talent from all around the world, RMA was delighted to be able to supply infrastructure items to all 3 venues including backstops and Scoreboards.

For the record, the event was won by the USA, with Australia finishing a respectible 4th place and the hosts in 13th. 

Ryde Park PowerGame a Hit

Early in 2009, RMA supplied the first international level outdoor Basketball court for a public park for Ryde Council in Sydney.

The court is a reduced size multisport area catering for Basketball, Netball and Volleyball, and has been a great success with constant use and very positive feedback.

The court offers biomechanical impact absorption relief for all users, and also helps local residents with deadening the noise of the constant ball bounces in comparison to the hard concrete surface. It never puddles in the rain and is a no maintenance surface which will last for many years to come.

For about 10 years, we have been looking to develop a good reliable line of composite football posts for AFL, League and Union. Something incredibly light, strong and durable.

Finally in 2009 after many years of waiting for the technology to mature, we can now provide a complete range of hinged base posts of differing heights for all codes.

The goals are tapered, finished in a highly impact resistant gel coating and of course are completely rust and corrosion resistant.

All posts come with a 5 year warranty, and are sure to be the next  evolutionary step in goalposts that has since the 1970's gone from timber, to steel and aluminium.
