Protection
All timbers are natural products and should be protected from objects such as tables, chairs, and high heels. As part of the character of timber, the surface may accumulate scratches, chips, or dents as it ages. This is normal in all systems and species, and is not a fault of the timber.
When using timber surfacing for multipurpose use, we recommend the Cover Court overlay. This helps ensure the longevity of the material.
Synthetic systems are available if protecting the timber is not feasible. These systems can be used for high level competition, and will withstand non-sports usage.
Specialist Systems
