Have Questions?
The Posilock Goal (BBSG3500) is the most installed spring-loaded ring for use on structurally mounted FIBA-certified competition Basketball systems in the world.
Used as the standard goal for our Stadia roof and wall-mounted indoor systems, this hoop is calibrated to not release until a pressure of 80 kg is applied on the rim, at which stage the posi-lock detent detaches and allows the ring to break away. The hardened steel springs internally allow for a precise fly-back operation when the goal is released, but remain firmly in the fixed position under normal shooting conditions to allow the best ball rebound. Note that standard spring-loaded rings do not comply with the rules of basketball.
The net is attached through the tube tie net attachment system. It is used at venues such as the Australian Institute of Sport for the elite Boomers and Opals training programmes.
